TC ATHENA CLASSIC

Introducing the TC Athena Classic built for both traditional and modern guitarists alike. The body of this guitar is crafted from swamp ash, providing a lightweight and resonant base for the sound to emanate from. The 25-1/2" scale length and 10"-14" compound radius C shaped neck make it easy to play and ideal for fast finger work.

The neck is available in all rosewood or flamed roasted maple, and is finished with a hand-rubbed oil and wax finish that feels smooth and natural to the touch. The spoke wheel truss rod adjustment at the neck heel allows for easy adjustments and maintenance.

This guitar is fitted with 22 high-profile, medium-width stainless steel frets, adorned with block inlays and luminlay side dots for ease of use in low-light conditions. The Ratio Electric locking tuners keep the guitar in tune and allow for quick and easy string changes.

The electronic shielding of this guitar is top-notch, featuring graphite acrylic resin coated body cavities and aluminum lining for optimal noise reduction. The switching system includes a 3-way lever pickup selector, 1 volume and 1 tone control, and a choice of either Seymour Duncan STL-1 and STR-1 pickups for a traditional tele sound or Seymour Duncan Stacked STK-3 and STK-1 pickups for a more modern and noiseless approach.

The guitar is finished off with a fixed proprietary ashtray tele style bridge, offering excellent tuning stability and sustain. Overall, this guitar is a versatile and reliable instrument that can accommodate a variety of playing styles and musical genres.
